Hospital and Home Education Learning Centre (HHELC)
HHELC is a school based in Nottingham which caters for pupils and young people with a range of medical or mental health needs. The school is located on three sites.
We are seeking an efficient and professional Office Manager to lead the team of 5 administrators across our three sites; The Lookout Education Centre, Sherwood Education Centre and Children’s Hospital School within the Queens Medical Centre.
You will be based at one of the three sites but you will be expected to visit the other sites as part of your role.
This role will require you to be able to deal with a wide range of situations day to day, whilst ensuring operational systems run smoothly. As well as having the ability to line manage the three offices effectively, you will also work alongside the School Business Manager and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support the needs of the school.
The ideal candidate must have previous office management experience and will join our well organised admin team. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages and financial systems is essential. SIMS knowledge is desirable. As this is a relatively new role, the candidate must be proactive and have confidence managing procedures across a split site.
The school takes the safeguarding of its pupils and staff very seriously and this post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and receipt of satisfactory references.
To apply please complete an application form clearly showing how you meet the requirements in the Person Specification and return this, together with a completed Equality and Diversity Monitoring form and covering letter.
