PA TO THE HEADTEACHER
£20,830 - £23,411 FTE
£18,274 - £20,538 Actual Basic Salary
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time plus an additional week to
include whole school CPD days. Core working hours are 8am to 4pm (with some flexibility to support school needs)
Robert May’s School is a high-achieving Academy Trust for 11-16 year olds in
Odiham, Hampshire. We are seeking to appoint a new Personal Assistant to the Headteacher as soon as possible.
An Academy Headteacher’s job combines the dual roles of educational and
charitable business development, which makes the role of PA demanding, challenging and interesting.
You must be well-organised with the ability to multi-task and to work well as part
of a team. Previous administrative experience within the Education sector is desirable. The successful candidate will have an excellent eye for detail, a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office combined with an advanced level of literacy, numeracy and interpersonal skills. Applications are invited from candidates who will be able to draw on best practice from educational and non-educational settings to ensure effective support for the Headteacher. Candidates must be able to work independently, under pressure and possess a professional, committed and enthusiastic approach to their work.
This is a term time position plus one week, working 37 hours from Monday to
Friday with some flexibility on start and finish times.
