Part Time Lecturer in Computing. Sessional hours.
An opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Lecturer to join our innovative and expanding Computer Science Programme Area. You could be part of a progressive and supportive team, steering our students to success. You will be required to work at least one evening per week.
Applicants should be qualified to at least a Level 4 and have the ability and experience to deliver Computing subjects up to Level 3 and provide support to our student studying BTEC Levels 2 and 3. You will be Teacher qualified or willing to become Teacher qualified within 5 years, with a Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
Successful applicants who do not already hold a teaching qualification, will be supported in gaining the required Qualified Teacher in Learning and Skills status.
We are looking for candidates with a range of experience; able to deliver IT User Skills and preferably either Programming or Networking. CompTIA or CISCO qualifications would be an advantage.
We are keen to hear from enthusiastic and motivated Lecturers or industry experts who can deliver innovative and exciting learning experiences, whilst maintaining a student centred approach to their teaching. This is your opportunity to help to inspire the next generation.
