Warrington and Vale Royal College is seeking applications for a part time Lecturer in Electrical Installation. We anticipate that we will have a requirement for 24 hours per week, delivering Level 1 to Level 3 Electrical Installation, and the successful candidate may be required to work at both campuses.
In October 2019 the College was officially commended as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and we celebrated some of the highest pass rates in England, ranking us in the top 10 nationally for the third consecutive year. Our mission is ‘Realising potential, transforming lives’. Our environment is inclusive, friendly and supportive, with high expectations for both staff and students. To thrive in our environment, you will need to be resilient, positive, able to work autonomously, have a strong work ethic, and put our learners at the heart of everything you do.
Applicants must have the relevant qualifications to teach up to and including Level 3, and occupational experience within industry. It is also essential that applicants have teaching experience.
Applicants will hold or be willing to work towards Cert Ed/PGCE. A1 Assessor award and V1 verifier award would be advantageous.
You will be responsible for the delivery of theory and practical sessions within the department.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and Prohibition Checks.
Please note that it is college policy that referees of short-listed candidates will automatically be approached prior to interview. One reference should be from your current or most recent employer.
