We are looking for a friendly and resourceful Minibus Driver, with excellent communication skills, to collect pupils from designated pick-up points in the morning and drive them to school. This is a part-time position for up to 10 hours per week, term-time only, commencing as soon as possible, once all required recruitment checks have been carried out satisfactorily. The school will shortly be commencing a pilot minibus scheme, and the permanency of the position will therefore be effected by the popularity of the scheme.
Hours & Salary
Monday to Friday, typically 6:45am to 8:45am, term-time only. Salary will be £20.00 per morning.
Training & Qualifications
Applicants must hold one of the following:
A Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) Driver’s Licence;
- A PCV Community Licence; or
- A Northern Ireland Licence corresponding to a PCV Driver’s Licence
The Driver will be required to undertake a competency test prior to confirmation of a job offer, and will also be required to complete child protection training before they commence the role.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with children, and be able to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with them. Previous experience of working with children would be considered an advantage.
