The Governing Body wish to appoint a pro-active, creative and adaptable Learning Support Assistant. The role will require the successful candidate to support pupils based in the Foundation Phase and will also include lunchtime supervision. The ability to contribute to the warm, caring, Christian ethos of the school is also essential. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. He or she should also be able to show initiative, share in the planning and evaluation of activities, and be able to work well as part of a dedicated team.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
Internal candidates who wish to apply for this position on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081). Requests may only be approved by the relevant Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.
