We are a happy school with a strong values based ethos.
Our Reception children benefit from high quality teaching and positive interactions with all staff. They enjoy a vibrant curriculum and learning through play within the EYFS and have access to excellent resources and facilities, both inside and out. We use the Interactive Learning Diary to capture children’s learning and to help identify next steps in moving their learning forward. Our dedicated staff work collegiately - expertise is shared and everyone unites to ensure the best possible education for our pupils.
We are recognized by Ofsted as an outstanding school.
The staff are given excellent CPD opportunities across the schools and we have an active and supportive local governing body and parent community.
The successful candidate will:
- have a passion for teaching and professional learning
- have high expectations and lead by example
- share the school’s values
- create an environment in which our children feel safe, valued, happy and respected
- work to ensure that all pupils make excellent progress
- contribute fully to the life of the school
We know you will love our school, find our children and staff warm and welcoming. Unfortunately we are unable to offer visits at this time due to Covid 19 restrictions but there are images and videos of the reception classes on our website including a virtual tour of the school.
