Grade G: £22,627 - £24,491 to be paid pro rata
(actual salary £19,210 - £20,793 under 5 years’ service)
Starting as soon as possible, we are keen to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic colleague experienced in working with young people, to manage our Pastoral Behaviour Support Centre and provide support to students who have been removed from mainstream lessons on a short-term basis. Key tasks will include planning and delivering intervention programmes to increase student engagement, as well as responding to situations as they arise on a day to day basis. It is essential that you have the ability to form positive relationships with students and are able to demonstrate a wide range of effective behaviour management techniques. This is an excellent opportunity to encourage and motivate students, to have a positive influence on their attitude and develop their sense of self-worth.

Our school is a fully comprehensive single Academy for students from the ages of
11 – 18, with approximately 1200 students on roll. We are a school for our community and strongly believe in the potential of every young person.
