Hours: 40 hours per week (7.30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday) | 38.6 weeks per year
Contract: Fixed term for until July 2021

Salary: Grade 4, Points 7-10 (Actual salary £18,651-£20,440)
We are looking to appoint a skilled and experienced Pastoral Support Worker to provide an exceptional level of pastoral support to our students. The successful candidate will support our Assistant Heads of Year as well as our Heads of Year to contribute to improved student behaviour and attendance, pastoral care and administration. We want to help our students to build confidence and inspire them to reach their goals. You will work to ensure students meet core expectations at Orchard Mead Academy.
The ideal candidate will have experience with working with young people, have excellent interpersonal skills and have experience in completing administrative tasks. We are looking for an individual who has experience of working effectively with children and young people in a learning environment and an awareness of child protection issues
