We seek to appoint an experienced, well-organised and committed Pastoral Welfare Leader (PWLs) with the combined role of conducting literacy, numeracy and basic skills catch up interventions . The role manages all aspects of the academic, attendance and welfare progress of all students they serve. All PWLs also cover a small number of classes as needed for staff absence. The successful candidate will work closely with the Team Around the School Leadership Team to reduce barriers to learning and promote academic and pastoral excellence. The Pastoral Welfare Leader will also specifically be responsible for supporting and developing a team of tutors focused on high standards of social, personal and academic development of targeted students.
This is an important and challenging role, which involves close interaction with Students, Teaching staff and the Senior Leadership Team.

Salary Associate Pay - Specialist - £26,286.47 (FTE £29,333)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week over 39 weeks
