TEACHER OF PE
PART-TIME, MATERNITY CONTRACT (0.5fte)
Starting early October 2020, we are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to join our dedicated PE team and cover a colleague’s maternity leave. You will have the skills and drive to inspire our students, coupled with high expectations and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to teach art as a second subject may be an advantage.
We operate a 2-week timetable and working days will be as follows:
- Week One - Tuesday morning, Wednesday all day, Friday all day
- Week Two - Monday all day, Tuesday all day, Friday afternoon
We are looking for a colleague with:

- an imaginative and creative approach to teaching and learning

We are seeking a talented and passionate classroom practitioner, whether experienced and looking for a fresh challenge or new to the profession. We run a very strong NQT programme and many NQTs have progressed onto leadership roles quickly within school.
A commitment to help all young people and staff to achieve their best and a shared belief in our inclusive ethos is expected of all staff.
Our school is a fully comprehensive single Academy for students from the ages of 11 – 18, with approximately 1200 students on roll. We are a school for our community and strongly believe in the potential of every young person.
