The Governing Body of Christ The King are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who is an excellent classroom teacher with high expectations and who will strengthen our ambitious and hardworking leadership team.
Christ the King is a welcoming and caring school with a strong Catholic ethos. Our team of staff and Governing Body ensure that Christ is at the centre of our learning and integrate Gospel Values into everything we do. Liturgical celebrations and daily prayers are at the heart of school life and we focus on the development of children’s religious literacy and spirituality, helping children to understand how the Gospels relate to our lives today.
Christ The King is also a place where children are developed in body, mind and spirit in our great outdoors and stimulating indoor learning environment. Throughout the school, hard-working and talented practitioners provide engaging and meaningful learning experiences and staff members have the highest expectations of themselves and of each child from Nursery to Year 6.
Please look at our website for much more information about us.
If you have the vision, drive and energy to support, challenge and inspire our staff members to achieve excellence on a daily basis and help our children to learn and prepare for the exciting New Curriculum for Wales, then this could be the job for you. Applications are welcomed from experienced Catholic professionals who are seeking a new challenge in a vibrant school that is aiming for excellence. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
