We are seeking dynamic, creative and inspiring individuals to help take the Hazel community on its journey to delivering excellent outcomes for all. If you want a challenge, are looking to forge your own path, and be a part of something unique, then we would love to hear from you.
You will be joining our expanding SLT and working closely with your phase team. You’ll also be leading a core subject (or element of) across the school and as a result you will be provided with generous leadership release time in order to ensure you can be successful. You’ll also be supported by our excellent Deputy and Assistant Head Teachers, and our brand-new Head Teacher.
You will be responsible for one of the phases as shown below, in addition to leading either Maths, English (Reading, Writing and/or Early literacy) or our Hazel topic curriculum.

Hazel Community Primary School is a two-form entry school with pupils from many backgrounds. We have a high number of EAL pupils with 47 different languages currently spoken in our school. Our children are friendly and our staff are united and determined.
Discussions, zoom meetings and school tours can also happen over the Easter holidays if this is convenient, or in the week beginning 12th April 2021. Please get in touch with any questions you have.
