Our brand new brand pre-school provision “Little Sparks” opened on 7th September 2021 and we are now looking to expand the team as our numbers continue to grow.
At Holy Cross we see our life’s mission as igniting the spark that will change the lives of all our girls – the spark that will become a flame that will define the arc of their lives. Our ‘little sparks’ will benefit directly from our unrivalled grounds in the heart of Kingston, our wonderful facilities and our permanent specialist teachers. Our dedicated and committed team work together to help children realise their full potential by providing a consistently high quality of education in a safe and supportive environment.
We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified teaching assistant to support our pre-school teaching staff in preparation and delivery of the curriculum. This person will also provide after school care for our EYFS pupils. The successful candidate must have a full and relevant level 3 early years qualification, recent experience teaching this age group, be kind, caring and sympathetic to our Christian ethos. The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude, be flexible and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. They will demonstrate commitment and be passionate about doing the best for their pupils. Please refer to the job description and person specification for full role information.
We value our employees and offer competitive salaries, membership of a pension scheme, life insurance and other wellbeing benefits such as 24/7 GP access. We have car-parking on site and provide a free lunch during term time.
If you share our ethos, are passionate about education and would like to join our friendly and supportive team, please submit an application form at your earliest opportunity clearly stating your preferred working pattern. Further details and the application form can be found on the school website vacancies page. Please contact Lindsey Banks, Deputy Bursar if you wish to discuss this exciting opportunity.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Applicants must produce evidence of their right to work in the UK.
