Required to start as soon as possible.
Permanent, 52 weeks per year, 37 hours per week.
Shift pattern: Monday – Friday 7.00am – 9.30am,
1.15pm – 5.45pm
Weekends: 2 hours for pool maintenance.
May include some late nights throughout the year.
Salary: Grade 8, £22,185 - £24,494 per annum - Grade 8 (pay award pending)
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and flexible Premises Officer to be responsible for the maintenance, security and cleanliness of the school premises, grounds and swimming pool to ensure staff, pupils and other users have a comfortable, clean, safe, well maintained environment in which to work and learn.
The ideal applicant will have:
• previous experience of working in a similar role;
• knowledge of Health and Safety;
• excellent time keeping;
• good communication skills;
• previous supervisory skills;
• a keenness to develop professional expertise;
• a sense of humour.
Burbage Junior School is set in spacious grounds and has excellent facilities. These include extensive playground space, a large playing field, an impressive library, an ICT suite and a swimming pool.
The village of Burbage is located on the outskirts of Hinckley. It can be easily reached from Nuneaton, Coventry and Leicester as it is near the M69 and A5. Burbage Junior School is near the old village centre which is a conservation area. The feeder Infant School is just across the road from the Junior School.
