The Learning Community are looking to appoint an outstanding candidate to the key role of Primary Teacher at the 3-16 Abertillery Learning Community (ALC).
Whilst based on a primary campus, this is an exciting professional development opportunity to work across the key stages following the Welsh Government model for all through education in Wales.
The successful candidates will be excellent classroom practitioners and will be able to demonstrate both their passion for learning and their ability to lead and inspire our learners.
The successful candidates will have excellent Welsh language skills and will be able to demonstrate this during the interview.
In addition, the successful applicants will be able to:
o Create an inspirational, safe and supportive learning environment with high expectations of learner achievement, success and progression
o Work with all stakeholders to ensure the continued development of an engaging curriculum as part of the new Curriculum for Wales
o Demonstrate a high level of organisational and ICT skills
o Build effective and supporting relationships with learners, parents and colleagues
