Job Purpose: The Head of Early Years & Primary has the overall responsibility for implementing the vision, mission and values for their section of the school. This person is ultimately accountable for the learning outcomes of all students and the quality of teaching and learning in the classes under their leadership. The Head of Early Years & Primary is accountable to the overall Head of School, the Board and to the community of parents and others that the school serves. This person is accountable to their staff and students for the quality and style of leadership that they provide and how it shapes and directs the school community.
The school has approximately 110 pupils in the EY phase, 130 in primary and approx 130 in secondary. There are 18 members of staff across the EY / Primary team. 85% of the school population is from the local community.
