Come join us to be part of a new school, building the curriculum to meet the needs of young people with Autism. The Austen Academy is a new Free Special School, part of Catch22 Mat. It opens in April 2021 and will be growing each year until 2025.
The Austen Academy will offer full time education and therapeutic support to 125 children aged 4 to 16 years old. Pupils will be referred to the school by the local authority as part of their duties to arrange SEN provision.
We are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher with QTS and experience of teaching Years 5 and 6 with an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and its application. You will need to be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and learning with an interest in learning more about Autism.
