You will be working as a Primary School Teacher for a market leader that has exclusive partnership agreements with schools across the St Helens area. Due to an increase in demand from our partner schools we are recruiting for Early Years, Qualified and Experienced Teachers for day to day supply leading to possible long-term opportunities.
As a New Directions Education Primary School Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a role that is completely flexible around your needs. Furthermore, you will be able to work as a Primary School Teacher in a variety of settings.
In order to be a Primary School Teacher you will need to have Qualified Teacher Status (UK) and experience within a classroom setting, this can be within a mainstream or SEND setting. You will need to be an approachable and patient Teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. It is imperative that you have good communication and interpersonal skills as this is crucial for building effective relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents quickly.

As a Primary School Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Teach all areas of the school curriculum
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
