Primary Teachers Required for Saudi Arabia
Established in 2016, Misk Schools is a growing Pre K to Grade 12 private day school in Riyadh, currently serving 160 Saudi students in Pre-K through Grade 7, with a new academic grade added each year.
The Misk Foundation focuses on the country’s youth and on how new methods of fostering talent, nurturing potential, and enabling innovation can open fresh opportunities in the arts and sciences.
Misk Schools aim to empower children to become independent learners and creative thinkers. Class sizes are small with a maximum of 12 students. Each student has a personalized learning pathway and there is a focus on inquiry-based, experiential learning. The holistic Misk Curriculum is specifically designed to prepare the next generation of Saudi leaders and is contextualized against the country’s Vision 2030.
MiSK Schools seeks energetic, committed and innovative individuals to join the team at what is an exciting time in the development of the school.
- High level of passion for Primary teaching and
- Commitment to excellence and to be inspired to
play a key role in making the development of this school a success;
- Flexibility, drive, energy and enthusiasm;
- Approachability and a sense of humour.
Misk Schools is currently based in a lovely location
within Riyadh, close to one of the leading universities. To support planned future growth to over 1000 children, in 2021 the site will move to a state of the art, purpose-built campus situated in Misk City – a brand new district of Riyadh that is set to become a leading hub for Innovation, Education, Culture and Media.
Current classrooms support the focus on digital
literacy, project based learning and personalized activities, allowing children to use tools and materials to design and build projects independently and in groups, in all areas of study.
In addition, Grades Pre K to 3 enjoy “The Studio”, a
space that that houses performing arts. Beyond traditional STEAM, The Studio offers the collaborative power of team teaching, creating student project opportunities that are infused with a variety of learning experiences.
Middle School students, (Grades 4-7), enjoy the
significant benefits of partnerships with leading, advanced technology institutions. Their maker-centric space is called the “YES! Lab”. It mirrors what is in The Studio but features a range of high-end digital tools including VR, coding, robotics, 3D printers and laser cutters.
The schoolʼs sporting facilities include two outdoor
artificial turf sports fields plus an indoor gymnasium, a 25m indoor swimming pool and a multi-purpose auditorium
