Opus Education are currently acting on behalf of a longstanding client of ours who are looking to appoint a Principal.
The school is a SEN academy based in South Devon and work with Children where their school placement has broken down. The school aim to support and create an environment where everyone can grow and develop, as they become responsible citizens and lifelong learners.
The school aims to help pupils get back on track, either through a return to regular schooling or by completing Year 11.
The Principal is responsible for effectively leading, managing and inspiring the academy, ensuring all children/young people referred to the Trust and employees in the academy achieve their full potential in an inclusive and safe environment in accordance with local and statutory policies and guidance.

• Qualified Teacher Status
• NPQH, Masters Degree (Both Desirable)
• Current Driving License with Access to car that holds business motor insurance
• Substantial experience in main stream/special school, Academy or PRU
