Project Leader (Aspire international)
£30,000 per annum
37 hrs per week
Based in Leeds City Region
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Leader, within our international research and development team reporting to the Aspire-international Manager Lauren van Heel, who will be responsible for coordinating a range of EU funded research and development projects.
The main objectives of the role are:
• To lead, deliver and be responsible for a variety of allocated projects, ensuring achievement of all related activity
• To develop funding bids and secure involvement in new projects through networking with national and European partners
• To monitor all project progress, preparing technical and financial reports for funding agencies
• To deliver training courses and presentations as required, includes developing, promoting and organising events
• To promote and disseminate projects through online communication and at meetings, conferences, careers exhibitions and other events, both in the UK and abroad
You must have excellent project management, communication and leadership skills with at least 2 years’ experience working in EU projects (Erasmus+ KA2/KA3 and/or Horizon2020). You must also have knowledge and experience of producing successful EU/international funding applications.
The successful candidate will be positive about the opportunities offered working with experts in other countries and be able to travel in the UK and Europe. They will also be confident meeting and speaking with a range of stakeholders, whether in a formal or social context. Experience of working, studying or travelling in Europe or beyond is essential. Candidates must be citizens of an EU or EEA member state.
