The Richard Barnes Academy is a new school. We opened on 1 May 2020, replacing The Peterborough Pipil Referral Unit. The Richard Barnes Academy offers specialist service working across the City and provides for leaners aged 4 -16. The Academy is situated across two sites, one on Williamsons Avenue and the other in Honeyhill.
Richard Barnes Academy are looking to recruit a Property Service Operative to be responsible for the maintenance and security of both Academy sites on a day to day basis. This will be supported by a central Trust maintenance team
The successful candidate will have the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Academy and work to tight deadlines to ensure any maintenance/security is carried out effectively and efficiently. There will also be a requirement to be able to use a range of maintenance and DIY tools. Due to the responsibility of this role, knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH is essential.
