William Morris Primary School is a new primary school based in Tadpole Garden Village in Swindon. We opened in September 2019 and will grow to become a 2 form entry primary. Our new school is part of The Blue Kite Academy Trust, a family of primary schools based in Swindon.
William Morris Primary School is a friendly, happy place where children are known and cared for. Teachers and pupils treat each other with respect and kindness which allows children to be challenged and stretched, helping them to persevere and achieve their potential. Our curriculum is creative and enables children to explore in different ways – using hands on experiences and interesting stimuli.
The new school building is spacious and purpose built, including a large hall, cookery room and library area. All our classrooms are bright and vibrant, installed with new equipment and resources. Our school site also incorporates an attractive field and pond area which will be utilised for learning, PE and sports.
William Morris has a growing staff team – we are a happy group and very supportive of one another. Everyone works hard to give the best possible environment and education to the children.
We are looking to appoint a Pupil Support Administrator to work in our friendly School Office at NJC Grade K1-4.
The hours of work will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9.00am to 12.30pm, with the possibility of increased hours as the school grows. The role is term time only plus 5 INSET days
The successful applicant will:
- Be friendly, welcoming
- Is able to deal sensitively and appropriately with a range of stakeholders
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, parents and other staff
- Have previous experience working in an office team
- Be adaptable and flexible to support the growth of our new school
- Be open and ‘muck in’ where needed
Be good at multi-tasking
- Have excellent organisational and time management
