Purchase Ledger Clerk
Salary :£21,322-£23,542 per annum
Full time and all year round.
Based at Unit 11 Castlebridge Office Village, Nottingham NG7 1LD
Transform Trust is looking for an experienced and proven ledger practitioner to help support central processes within a fast growing and dynamic Multi Academy Trust. We are looking for an individual who can work to a high level of accuracy while developing excellent internal and external working relationships.
Reporting to the Trust Finance Manager, you will assist in processing invoices, grant receipts and occasionally sales invoices to the finance system for Trust schools in a controlled and efficient manner. You will assist in running those ledgers to a high standard, meeting all control requirements of internal and external audit scrutiny.
You will liaise with schools and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of finance processes and organize BACS payments to ensure that suppliers are paid in a timely manner. Additionally you will assist in the month end closing process including reconciliation of Aged Debtors and Creditors.

You will be an ambassador for the Trust and must have a customer-facing approach with all Trust schools.
Essential skills required for the role:
- experience of Purchase Ledger
- experience of making BACS payments
- competence on MS Office products – e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word
- customer service ethos – Trust schools ar our customers
- understanding and empathy for school level finance processes
- experience of working in a central team
- Sales Ledger, Cashbook and General Ledger processes.
