Hours: 8 per week, Monday to Thursday, 1pm to 3pm.
Salary: Hay 14 (£3,226 per annum)
This is a fixed term post until 31st August 2021 pending and budget and staffing review.

Kings’ Forest Primary School are seeking Reading and phonics assistants to join our excellent team. Kings’ Forest has a proven track record of developing staff and developing inclusive practice so that all children succeed.
This is post is suited to a teaching assistant who enjoys working with individual pupils. The successful candidate will work with children daily to build up their skills in recognizing the sounds letters make, increasing sight recognition of key words and increasing fluency. Full training will be given.

The role will include:
•1:1 reading with individual children as directed by the class teacher
•Maintaining children’s individual reading records
•Reporting on children’s progress in reading to the class teacher
•Participating in training relevant to the reading assistant role
•Creating and maintaining reading resources where appropriate
