Teacher required at our happy and successful school (Reception class maternity cover)
We are looking for an inspiring teacher to join us on a fixed-term maternity cover contract from Monday 22nd February until the end of the academic year. This will be based in EYFS in one of our Reception classes.
The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher, willing to take an active role in the life of our school. You will be joining a well-established team half-way through the year, so you will need to build relationships with pupils, parents and staff, in order to continue the momentum of the year’s learning. You must be committed to improving the life chances of our children by both raising attainment and contributing to our experience-rich curriculum. You will be reflective and innovative, with the potential and desire to keep learning throughout your career.

Our school is currently not accepting visitors, however we have one date in January (an INSET day during which there are no children on site) where school tours may be possible subject to any health and safety restriction in place at the time. Applications should be made using the online application system. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview using video technology, as well as being asked to complete a small range of written submissions. We may also be able to include a practical element depending on the government’s health and safety restriction in place at the time. The date and time of the interviews will be arranged after shortlisting has taken place, in order to adhere to be flexible.
