We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Reception team:

We're seeking to appoint a teaching assistant to work in our Reception, who shares our commitment to the highest standards, where our children can live and learn in a happy and safe environment. We're committed to raising attainment and accelerating progress through effective pedagogy, a comprehensive curriculum and rigour in everything we do. We want our children to make memories, engage in the exciting World we live in – and leave us as Active Citizens.
To join our Reception team you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills working in a team. You will actively make excellent relationships with parents and carers so that they can be involved in their child’s care and education.
We are particularly interested in people with tried and tested expertise with children with SEND, including Autism and strengths in behaviour management.
You should be passionate about working with young children. You should be able to engage and inspire them and make a difference to every minute of their day! The successful candidate will be a strong team player, with excellent Literacy and Numeracy skills and a good understanding of how to move children forward in their learning. You should have experience of delivering a phonics programme.
The successful candidate will work under instruction from the class teacher to help maintain a calm and productive environment and be able to:
• Use your own initiative to facilitate maximum impact on children’s learning in an inclusive environment.
• Work closely with the Reception teacher and colleagues to develop and implement Individual Behaviour/Education plans.
• Use a range of positive behaviour strategies to support inclusion.
• Use ICT and have good administrative skills enabling you to support our Reception team.
