What we are looking for:
We look for passionate individuals who want to be a part of transforming education and will make an active contribution to the development of the Cabot Learning Federation and chosen Academy.
In this role you will be the first point of contact into the Academy and will be welcoming and demonstrate professional behaviour and maintain positive relations with parents and the community. You will provide administrative support as required which will include using word processing, database entry, Excel and outlook programmes. Your duties will specifically include;
- Welcoming visitors to the school and provide help in dealing with enquiries.
- Answer the telephone promptly and directing enquiries as appropriate.
- Maintaining a Reception area that is attractive to visitors and kept in good order.
- Be prepared to participate in individual, team or whole school training.
You will be qualified to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Mathematics, and have relevant experience of working in a reception, school or administrative environment. You will also have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

About the Academy & Cabot Learning Federation
The Cabot Learning Federation is the largest non-diocesan academy group in the South West. We currently are sponsoring academies in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Weston-Super-Mare; six secondary, eight primary, one all-through academy and a Studio School. The Federation also has an overarching CLF Post 16 and specialist inclusion centres. Together we educate over 9000 children between the ages of 3 and 19 and the Federation is a major Teaching School in the South West.
Hanham Woods Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation and is one of the most improved Academies in the South West, providing education to over 800 students. The Academy joined the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF) in 2014. The CLF is the largest non-diocesan academy group in the South West. The CLF currently sponsors 13 academies, seven of which are secondary, five are primary and one is a studio school catering for students aged 14-19.
