Salary £12,699 - £14,879 – pro rata, 21 hours per week (role evaluation pending)

The Philanthropy, Partnerships and Engagement team, based in London and in Wales is the essential link with these graduates, our alumni community, across cultures and continents, professional spheres and life experiences, to ensure that we stay connected to each other and the UWC values. The PPE team aims to develop a more inspired, enthused and engaged alumni community and to develop and celebrate a “culture of philanthropy” – a commitment to give time, treasure and talent to support our future ambitions.
This role will be instrumental in utilising research skills to retrieve, synthesise, accurately record and present information as well as developing the pipeline of new prospects which enables the PPE team at UWC Atlantic to engage and build relationships with both existing and new donors most motivated by the UWC’s mission.
You will be responsible for producing accurate and insightful briefing documents, proposals and project reports for UWC Atlantic fundraisers, the Director of PPE and Lead Advocates to inform fundraising activity, identifying new supporters globally and in the UK, with an interest in UWC Atlantic’s work to help maintain a healthy funding pipeline, establishing a moves management system, working with fundraisers to support intelligent engagement strategies, and a first-rate donor experience by providing accurate and insightful information on existing and potential donors.
You will have experience in a research or writing environment or alternatively, experience in a fundraising environment for a not for profit organisation along with experience in managing and communicating large volumes of information from a variety of sources.
Your excellent written and communication skills enabling credibility to be built and strong relationships developed with internal and external stakeholders with the appreciation of the importance of understanding donor or client motivations and interests for successful relationship management. Excellent organisational and planning skills, ability to differentiate tasks appropriately, to work to tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities, excellent influencing, persuasion and negotiations skills, investigative mind, excellent analytical skills and the ability to make intuitive connections.
Confidence and ability to present expert advice through written reports, presentations and during meetings to support the long-term strategic development of the programme.
