A unique opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic strength and conditioning coach, with ability to coach in Rugby
Llandovery College requires a committed and enthusiastic Strength, Conditioning and Athletic Performance Coach to lead, plan and implement Strength and Conditioning programmes for the College Elite Rugby Programme (Boys and girls) and Junior Sports Academy groups, to be delivered in the gym, as well as any field-based training. This person will lead all physical screening, functional movement assessments and testing of students.
You will ensure high quality sessions are delivered to our students. You should have strong organisational skills and be happy to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team, to a high standard. You will be emphatic and understanding of the fast paced and constantly changing landscape within a sporting environment at an energetic independent school.
You will support the Director Elite Rugby. Your main focus will be on supporting the provision of strength and conditioning to all of our students, and coaching in Rugby
You should be able to demonstrate a professional, helpful and child-focused approach, have excellent interpersonal skills to foster good working relationships with staff, pupils, other schools and parents to effectively promote Sport. An ability to contribute to the delivery of the BTEC Elite Sports programme would be highly advantageous.
