About the Role
The Safeguarding Officer will support and co-ordinate the delivery of Safeguarding arrangements across the College. This role will work closely with managers, curriculum and support staff, external agencies, and students in order to maintain a culture of vigilance and responsibility, maintaining the safest possible environment at City of Liverpool College.
The Safeguarding Officer will support the work of the College’s Safeguarding Leads and be responsible for: supporting the College’s compliance with Safeguarding Policies and Procedures, the Prevent Duty, co-ordinating and delivering awareness raising events, delivering training for staff and students, responding to and managing safeguarding cases and attending meetings, including multiagency meetings off site. Supporting and advising staff across the college and liaising with key safeguarding partners across the Liverpool city region.
