School Business Manager – required for September 2019
Welcome to our friendly and hard-working school situated in the village of Cranleigh.
Thank you for taking an interest in our vacancy for a School Business Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate looking for significant responsibility and job variation in a demanding role.
The successful candidate will support the strategic direction of the school in respects of planning, developing and monitoring finance, personnel, premises and ICT. However, in working at a school, any situation can arise at any time which will require team work, leadership, creative thinking and a ‘hands on’ approach.

The successful candidate will have:
• Core financial accounting skills
• The ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• The ability to lead and motivate staff
• Be able to work as part of a team

Salary Grade/Range: S9 £34,688 - £38,476 FTE (£31,086 – £35,099 pro rata)
Working Pattern: 36 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days and 2 weeks during the holiday periods
Responsible to: Headteacher and Governing Body
Responsible for: Admin team, premises team, ICT technician
