School Business Manager – Permanent – 1st September 2020
Hours: 37 hours per week (TTO) 200 days
Grade 8 - £28,785 to £31,371 per annum FTE (actual salary: £28,785 x 200/225 = £25,587 per annum)
Bude Park Primary school is currently an academy within North Carr Collaborative Academy Trust (NCCAT) comprising of three primary schools located in the North of the city of Hull. NCCAT will merge with Humber Education Trust on the 1st September 2020, which currently comprises of nine Hull primary schools, 3 Hull special schools and one NE Lincolnshire special school.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to appoint as our School Business Manager, where you will be responsible for ensuring the school operates and meets its financial statutory responsibilities and requirements in line with the Trust’s Scheme of Delegations and the Academies Financial Handbook. Together with providing strategic vision and leadership to all aspects of the budget and finance. You will work closely with the Trust School Business Manager and HET Chief Financial Officer, our HR provider and other School Business Managers within our schools.
The successful applicant must have a Level 4 Diploma for School Business Managers (formerly known as the Certificate of School Business Management or CSBM) or equivalent in the relevant discipline. Experience of working in a senior finance/administration role and preparing budget accounts is also essential.

The successful applicant may in the future be required to work across more than one HET school. This role may evolve into a shared School Business Manager.
