Hours: 15 per work, 41 weeks (term-time + 5 Inset days and 2 additional weeks) to be worked daily from 9.30am to 12.30pm (with some flexibility)
Actual Salary: PS7/8 depending on experience £10,416-£13,008 (FTE £27,641-£34,519)
Having been given the opportunity, due to staff changes, to carry out an office reorganisation in our small, village primary school, we seek to appoint a School Business Manager with excellent financial skills to lead a new office team. We want someone who can communicate well with staff, governors, outside professionals and pupils, and especially other members of the office team. Flexibility and a sense of humour are essential qualities for the role as no two days are the same. The successful candidate will have high level financial, leadership and strategic skills, outstanding communication skills and able to work strategically to help achieve the school’s vision. The successful candidate will be willing to take part in all aspects of school life and turn their hand to any task to support colleagues.
Prior experience of working in a financial role with experience of setting and monitoring budgets is essential together with excellent organisational, and IT skills. Experience of working with Word, Excel, SIMS.net and SIMS.FMS are also required. This post may suit someone already working in a financial role within a school who wants to progress to an SBM role.
