Lumen Learning Trust is looking for a motivated and dynamic School Business Manager (SBM).
This is an exciting new role to support the business management of the Trust. The role will initially be working with Saxon Primary School, Shepperton, TW17 OBJ for 60% of the hours with the further 40% working across other schools within the Trust as required. All our schools are within easy driving distance of each other.
The role will include providing high quality advice and direction on finance, ICT, premises, health and safety and personnel to the head of school, SLT, and Board of Directors. The SBM will work collaboratively with the Trust Finance and Operations Managers and the SBMs of other schools within the Trust.
The successful candidate must have strong financial skills, demonstrate a professional approach, be happy to work on their own as well as part of the school community and have excellent communication, ICT and organisational skills. The SBM will be part of the school’s Senior Leadership Team and will attend and contribute to these on a fortnightly basis. As this role is new to the Trust a flexible approach to working patterns and demands is essential.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Attendance at fortnightly SLT meetings 3.30pm- 5pm is essential. Weeks worked per year will be 40, term time plus inset days with an additional one week per year to be worked as required.
Pay Scale: £31,273 - £34,519 full time equivalent, £26,827 - £29,612 actual
