School Business Manager
Start date: 1st September 2021
Hours: 32 ½ hours per week, term time only (Monday to Friday 8am – 3pm or 9am – 4pm, flexibility will be considered for the right candidate)
Salary: Hay 7 (£22,246 - £24,245 per annum)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed School Business Manager to join our wonderful school. The SBM is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team who will work closely with the Headteacher to support the strategic development of the school, providing vision, knowledge and expertise in all aspects of business knowledge. The candidate must have excellent organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills, be a good communicator, strategic thinker, team player as well as the ability to adapt to the challenges of the school day!
The successful candidate will have experience of managing budgets, financial planning and reporting. Experience in procurement, contract management, building maintenance and marketing would also be beneficial. You will be responsible for all HR functions, Health and Safety including GDPR. The candidate will have a sound knowledge of safeguarding practice especially in regard to managing the school’s Single Central Record, safer recruitment processes and site safety.
You will also have overall responsibility for the effective and efficient organisation of the school office and Admin team.
