Job Title: School Business Manager level 3
Grade and Salary: Grade 10 points 31-34
Hours and contract: 37 hours/42 weeks (Ideally the post holder will work 42 weeks per year but this could be negotiated for the right candidate).
£40,578 - £43,570 (42 weeks pro rata: £37,535 – £40,302)
Start date: 25th August 2022 (sooner if possible)
Reporting to: Headteacher
Responsible for: All non-teaching support and administration staff; along with the premises staff and external contractors

Catherine Junior School are looking to appoint a dynamic individual with the ability to lead on all aspects of Finance, HR, IT, Health and Safety and Premises Management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher, leadership team and governing body.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the relevant experience in managing finance and developing people to take on this important role. As School Business Manager, you will be a member of the School Senior Leadership Team who takes a strategic lead on all aspects of business management in the school in order to enable us to best meet the needs of all our learners and strive for excellence in standards of education and care.
This is a role with a broad range of responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is prepared for a challenge and who is motivated by doing their very best for the children in our community. • Have a recognised SBM qualification or equivalent and/or experience
• Have experience in financial management and planning
• Have experience of working in a school environment
• Have excellent leadership skills and track record of successfully developing a team

• Can think strategically and creatively
• Has excellent IT skills
• Would consider becoming a DSL
