With the pending retirement of a long-standing member of staff, Cabot Primary School is looking to recruit a Caretaker with immediate effect.
Cabot Primary School is a thriving and diverse school in the heart of the St Paul’s community. We are looking to recruit a reliable, enthusiastic and efficient Caretaker to be responsible for the provision of looking after and maintaining our school premises.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in school, having responsibility for ensuring our site is legally compliant, well maintained, safe and fit for purpose at all times. This is a full-time post, although the hours are split at the beginning and end of the day as opening and locking the site are part of the job requirements.
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for the oversight of site security, repairs and maintenance, including all alarms, building maintenance systems and plant room equipment.
Ideally you will have some handyman experience in a similar role or can demonstrate the capability to carry out basic maintenance and DIY tasks, and an awareness of Health and Safety.
