We are small, oversubscribed academy for 11-16 year old boys and girls of all abilities, with a roll of 750. We serve a diverse community in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. We are looking for a well-qualified, highly motivated and inspirational teacher to take on the role of:-
Teacher of Science
Required for September 2019 or January 2020 (MPS UPS)

You will be part of a fantastic and highly motivated team that is determined to use the application of Science knowledge to make learning interesting and engaging. There are a variety of different opportunities and responsibilities within the department to help with your continuing professional development.
The successful candidate will:
Be an outstanding, and enthusiastic teacher of Science
Have experience in teaching all strands of Science across both Key Stages
Have the ability and experience of teaching engaging and motivating lessons across both Key Stages
Demonstrate and share excellent subject knowledge and expertise
Demonstrate a clear commitment to raising achievement and developing excellence
Be passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people
Have a good sense of humour, energy, stamina and resilience with warmth and sensitivity to the needs of others
