TEACHER OF SCIENCE
Rodborough School is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic and organised Science teacher to join our team full time supporting this core subject. The post is also suitable for teachers new to teaching.
The successful candidate will have a passion to teach Science (Physics specialism preferred) and will join an enthusiastic, supportive and dedicated team to further enhance our department and teaching. The successful candidate will also recognise that working as a tutor and supporting the extra-curricular provision is essential when it comes to ensuring our students have the best possible experience during their time with us.
Science is very popular at Rodborough. The sciences are taught discreetly in specialist labs with nearly half of students taking a separate science route at GCSE. Uptake on post-16 science courses by Rodborough students is high. The Science Department is active in organising a broad range of curriculum and extra-curricular activities, all of which are an important part of the student experience at Rodborough.
Rodborough is a very successful, popular, oversubscribed 11-16 school near Godalming, Surrey. It has an excellent reputation for providing a broad and rounded education whilst challenging all students to achieve their best.
