GRADE C £18,426 - £19,407 FTE
£15,291 - £16,106 p/a Actual Basic Salary
35 hours per week, term time plus one week
The successful candidate will liaise with the Senior Technician and members of the
Science Department in the preparation of teaching materials and setting up of demonstration experiments to enhance student learning. Prior experience in laboratory work is desirable and an interest in science and an eagerness to learn are key.
The successful candidate will have:
- A high standard of literacy and numeracy
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- The ability to work on own initiative
Training will be provided where necessary.
The vacancy is for 35 hours per week, term time plus one week (40 working weeks). This
would ideally include 8:00am-3:30pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00am – 4pm on Tuesday and 8am-3pm on Friday but there may be some flexibility in working hours for the right candidate.
