Salary SP4 £19,072 - £21,066 FTE dependent on experience.
This role could be flexible around school hours or full time.
In this important role you will co-ordinate the use of practical resources, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies and generally provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the science curriculum. Experience of working in a laboratory and as part of a technical team would be an advantage, however it is more important that you have good communication skills and a strong desire to improve the educational experiences of the young people in our care.
This role could be combined with the opportunity to gain experience in a classroom as an unqualified teacher and so would suit a graduate considering a career in teaching. If this is of interest please get in touch to discuss further.
In return we will offer you:
• A professional, hardworking and supportive team of staff;
• Access to Surrey MyBenefits Scheme (including Child Care Voucher Scheme);
• A caring and supportive working environment within a vibrant school community;
• A contributory local government pension scheme.
Please see our candidate pack for further information on the college and this role.
Interviews will take place on 5th November.
