We are a Humanities Specialist College which became an all through school in September 2012. We achieved IIP Gold in December 2013. We have landmark buildings that provide everyone with state of the art facilities for learning, teaching and training. As part of the exciting growth plans for the School, we are expanding our team to meet future requirements. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Science Technician.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and clearing away all equipment and materials for lessons. They will be required to support teachers in practical lessons as required and be confident to work with all Science equipment, safely following all Health & Safety Regulations as necessary. The ability to use own initiative and work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines would be very helpful. They must have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety/COSHH Regulations for all Science equipment/materials.
The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
