We have a new opportunity to join our three-strong team of Science Technicians (including a Senior Technician) working alongside a teaching staff of 14 across the Science department.
The successful candidate will join a supportive, committed and experienced team of Technicians who work hard to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of innovative and enjoyable lessons, providing advice and support to the students and teachers. The position is 30 hours per week, term time only. The working pattern is ideally Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.00pm; final details to be discussed with successful applicant. The actual salary for role, based on 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year is £13,926.

The 2020 results were centre assessed grades (CAGS) and were in line with the outstanding results in previous years. The department achieves high academic success with many of our A-level students going on to higher education courses in Science, Technology and Medicine.
An enthusiasm for learning and a love of Science are essential requirements of the job. Qualifications and previous experience are desirable, but full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
