Science/Maths teacher (secondary trained)
We are a leading independent prep school in beautiful North West Norfolk and we are searching for a dynamic and excellent Science and Maths teacher. This is a full time and permanent role from September 2019, although the role may be split into two part time 0.5 timetables should a candidate only teach one of the subjects or prefer a part time role.

This position would suit a secondary trained Science teacher who can teach Physics, Biology and Chemistry, involving teaching Science from Year 5 to Year 8, including the 13+ Common Entrance and Scholarship. Pupils have specialist subject teachers from Year 5 and it is hoped that the successful candidate will be able to teach Maths to Years 6, 7 and 8. There is a possibility that this role could be split into two part time roles for a Maths teacher and a Science teacher.
The school are looking for a vibrant teacher who has experience of teaching Science and Maths either at prep school or secondary age range. It would also suit a teacher starting on their career after achieving QTS recently although applications from all candidates will be considered.
The salary for this role is to be negotiated on our own scale. We expect staff to commit to the ethos and busy life of our thriving Prep School and this may involve additional weekday duties, but there is no weekend school.
