Required for Spring 2020, or as soon as possible thereafter, we welcome applications to this key post from exceptional, motivated and inspirational colleagues with the relevant energy, experience and passion for teaching English across the age and ability range from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified English teacher to take on responsibility for leading within our high-performing English department.
The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge. He/she will be able to demonstrate a high degree of commitment to effective teaching and have the ability to support students of all ages in developing their understanding and enjoyment of the subject. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving school and work with students who are keen to learn. The person appointed will also demonstrate a willingness to participate fully in the wider life of the school.

In 2019, we achieved our best ever GCSE and A Level results, performing above family, LA and Wales averages in all key performance indicators at KS4.
