The Governing Body wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work at Porth Community School to complement our existing team in the Secondary Phase.
Porth Community School is a 3-16 school with approximately 1000 pupils. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and committed Teaching Assistant, who is willing to go the extra mile to support pupils, parents and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant include:
To complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision, which will include working with pupils without the presence of another adult. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils achievement, progress and development.
