A brand new independent SEN school for children with ASD are recruiting for teachers to join them.
The school is based in Rochester, Kent.
The school are looking to recruit a strong team of SEN Teachers as they start a new exciting journey with their excellent new Interim Head.
They're looking to recruit for the following roles:
2 x KS2 Teachers
1 x English Teacher (KS2-KS4)
1 x Maths Teacher (KS2-KS4)
1 x Science Teacher (KS2-KS4)
1 x Humanities Teacher (KS2-KS4)
1x ICT Teacher (KS2-KS4)
Other subjects may be required within Music, PSHE, Drama and PE.
These roles are ideally full time, permanent but part time candidates may be considered where it's possible to form a job share.
Class sizes are particularly small, with only 4-6 students in each class currently. Each class is fully supported by a team of specialist teaching assistants to ensure 1:1 support is available for each student.
You will be responsible for devising and implementing individual education and behavioural plans with the support of the rest of the teaching and leadership team.
You'll contribute to the overall programme to ensure student progression and be responsible for organising your classroom, resources and displays to provide a stimulating environment for the children.
The school are looking for teachers who have QTS (qualified teaching status) and a degree of experience of working with children with ASD.
