About the role
We have an exciting opportunity within our specialist College for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to support young people with complex learning disabilities to complete their College placement.
You will provide our learners with development opportunities that not only extends their academic skills and abilities, but also promotes personal growth and independence in all aspects of learning, leisure and life. You will be responsible for supporting with specific and targeted curriculum through various strategies in order to help our learners achieve their learning goals whilst promoting independence.

To join us as a Learning Support Assistant, you will need to be dedicated, motivated and passionate about people, with previous experience of working within a SEN environment or similar. You will also have an NVQ Level 2 in either Learning or Health and Social Care along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
St Elizabeth’s is situated in 68 acres of Hertfordshire countryside between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. We support people with Epilepsy and other complex needs in our Children’s Homes, School, College, Residential Homes with Nursing and Day Centre.
